About the Role:
As a Range Safety Officer at Apex Shooting Center, you will be on the floor ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and smooth operation of our state-of-the-art indoor shooting range. This is a frontline role interacting directly with guests of all experience levels — from first-time shooters to seasoned marksmen.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor shooters on the range to enforce all safety protocols and range rules.
Provide friendly, knowledgeable guidance on firearm handling and safe shooting practices.
Assist with check-in, range equipment setup, and equipment returns.
Maintain clean and orderly range lanes and common areas.
Respond quickly and professionally to emergencies or customer concerns.
Qualifications:
Prior range/industry experience or NRA/industry certification preferred.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle firearms.

Firearms Retail Specialist
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

About the Role:
Apex Shooting Center’s retail store features an expansive inventory of firearms, optics, accessories, and shooting gear. As a Firearms Retail Specialist, you’ll help customers find the right products while ensuring compliance with all federal and state firearms regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
Process firearm sales, transfers, and consult on NFA items with accuracy and professionalism.
Maintain product displays, manage inventory, and restock merchandise.
Coordinate with range staff to facilitate “try before you buy” experiences.
Complete all required paperwork and ensure compliance with ATF/FFL rules.
Qualifications:
Previous retail, firearms, or sporting goods sales experience a plus.
Knowledge of firearms and shooting sports preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus.
Ability to pass background checks for firearms handling and sales.
